Sofie in Orange — Playful on the Chair
Sofie gets a little more playful in this 1/12 scale photoshoot, relaxing across a miniature chair in her bright orange bikini.
For this pose, I wanted to move away from a traditional seated position and experiment with something more dynamic and expressive. One leg raised over the back of the chair, the other reaching toward the camera, and her body leaning across the seat create a much stronger sense of depth and movement.
I especially like how the perspective works here. Sofie’s extended leg leads into the photograph while her face remains the main point of attention. Her long blonde hair and orange outfit also stand out beautifully against the turquoise background.
This is the kind of experimentation I enjoy most in miniature doll photography—taking a simple prop like a chair and discovering how many different poses and compositions you can create around it.
At only 1/12 scale, Sofie continues to prove that a tiny model can have plenty of presence in front of the camera.
