Mila & Sofie — Two Scales, One Photoshoot

Finally, Mila and Sofie meet in the same scene. This gallery brings my two seamless dolls together and really shows just how different 1/6 and 1/12 scale look when placed side by side.

Mila, my VERYCOOL Model Body No. 6, sits in the background while little Sofie stands in front of her. Sofie is a 1/12 scale Phicen/TBLeague seamless doll, and next to Mila she suddenly looks very small. The difference is much more dramatic than looking at measurements alone.

I kept the background and setup simple because this time the scale comparison is the main subject. It is also interesting to see how differently the two sizes work for doll photography: Mila offers much more physical presence and clothing detail, while Sofie can create an entire miniature scene in a very small space.

Two different scales and two different possibilities for miniature doll photography — and hopefully not the last time Mila and Sofie appear together.
